Mark Alexander Fabrics and Wallpaper
Idolum is pleased to be able to offer the complete range of Mark Alexander fabrics and wallpapers. This new Romo Group brand is the result of collaboration between Mark Butcher and Alexander McKenzie. In their own words, their “design orientation is broadly eclectic in style and natural in quality. Influences range from African tribal cloths to twenties Vienna; Japanese art, to Mayan architecture.” The pair have worked closely with traditional mills to incorporate specialist techniques throughout the collection of Mark Alexander fabrics which accentuate the luxury of natural yarns. Their unique colour palette is based on subtle, natural shades, earthy tones and mellow hues which compliment the natural qualities of the yarns.
